Banbury Central Bowls Club has been established more than 100 years and is one of the premier clubs in Oxfordshire. It has excellent facilities and hosts a number of important county matches during the season. There is also a comfortable bar; lounge and viewing patio where members can relax on summer evenings. A number of first class social events are also put on. The club is proud of its tradition of accommodating bowlers of all standards. Whilst the club boasts of many players, both women and men of a high standard, there are ample club matches and events to suit the average player or those who want only to play causally. Beginners are most welcome and there is a qualified coach on hand who organizes coaching and development programmes. Non-playing social members are also welcome.
