End of season report for 2006 Banbury Central have enjoyed another successful season in 2006. At National level we were represented at both Worthing and Leamington with the outstanding performance coming from Mark Sykes who reached the Singles Semi-Final. The men won the League for the third straight year, a feat only achieved once before by Summertown. This was our sixth League title in nine years. The Hawker Cup was also won this year for the third time in our history. Next year we will be hosting the Middleton Cup, the County domestic Finals and the Town Finals. |
